The Fringe Festival, held in Edinburgh, Scotland, brings thousands of performers, directors, writers, and other countless artisans, together for three weeks to showcase their skills and talent on one international stage. The festival is connected with the American High School Theatre Festival (AHSTF) that allows top high school performing arts students to have an opportunity to participate and perform shows in front of a diverse community.
With AHSTF, Mark Keppel High School has been lucky enough to be nominated and chosen to perform at the Fringe in August 2015. During the two weeks in Europe, we would spend 3 days in London, touring around historical landmarks, including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. The next 10 days are spent in Edinburgh where we would prepare and rehearse for our show, Peter Pan, to be performed at the Fringe. At the same time, we are also led to a sightseeing excursion to venues such as Stirling Castle and the Trossachs. Join us as we take on this incredible adventure! |
